Do you need guidance on how to find your life purpose? You're not the only one. People all over the world are stuck with the same question in their heads. After all, we didn't arrive here on Earth with instructions. We didn't have anything stamped on our foreheads saying what we were supposed to do. And so we simply lived. But the question still remains - "what on earth are we here for?" If you want to know how to find your life purpose, read on. Step 1: Know Yourself. It's a little difficult to determine our purpose here on Earth, especially if we have no idea who we are. I understand that this can be one of the most difficult questions for many people, so why don't you go get a pen and paper? List down your defining characteristics - the things that make you the person you are. List down your skills and the things that you like to do as well. While we might not have come with instructions in word, our particular skill sets and passions are strong indicators of what we're meant to do with our life. Of course, this is not the end all be all. People change. This is just the beginning of your journey. Step 2: Evaluate The People You Admire. Sometimes, the way to find your life purpose is to look at what other people have done - particularly the people whom you admire. Are you a big fan of Steve Jobs? Or maybe you feel great admiration for Mother Teresa. The kind of people you admire is also a wonderful indicator of what you're meant to do here. Step 3: Ask Yourself. Somewhere deep inside us, we know what we're supposed to do. Have you ever tried asking yourself what that is? Schedule a bit of quiet time with yourself and let your thoughts roam freely. Think about the things that you have been exposed to since you were little. If you have already compiled a list such as the one stated above, take it out and review what you have written there again. Reflect on where you are right now, what you still want to do and where you want to end up. Not all of us know how to find our life purpose. Some are lucky enough that they discover it right away. Others might have to take a few wrong turns before they get it. But one thing's for sure, we'll know when we've found it.
